CAIS Editorial Grant: Deep-Dive AI Safety & Discourse

Campaign Objective

Campaign Objective: The Center for AI Safety (CAIS) is providing non-dilutive production grants to help top-tier creators tackle complex, high-leverage AI topics. Our only goal is to elevate the quality, accuracy, and depth of AI discourse on YouTube. We are acting as a production underwriter to help you make the best video possible on a critical subject.

The "Public Underwriter" Integration Details:

• Brief Underwriter Shoutout: To comply with FTC guidelines, this grant operates under a public broadcasting model. You do not need to do a full ad read, but you must include a brief verbal/visual acknowledgement somewhere in the video using this exact phrasing: "This video was supported in part by the Center for AI Safety, a nonprofit reducing societal-scale risks from AI."
• 100% Retained Inventory: Because this is a production grant and not a traditional commercial sponsorship, your standard pre-roll, mid-roll, and end-screen sponsor slots remain entirely yours to sell to other corporate brands.

What This Grant Funds ($5,000 Allocation): We are providing capital specifically to elevate the visual and editorial quality of your deep dive. The Verza escrow can be drawn down to reimburse specific, high-end production costs, including:

• Freelance Video Editing & Motion Graphics
• Custom 3D Animations
• Professional Thumbnail Design & A/B Testing
• Research Assistants

• Direct Researcher Access: Free, open-door access to top CAIS AI researchers. You can use them for background prep, technical script reviews, or on-camera interviews to ensure your video is technically bulletproof.
